Ion Expansion - Electronic Drum to Ion Brain Interface

Use your ion drum brain with the ion exapnsion box to hook up your own electronic drum kit or enhance your ion setup.   With it you can permanently hook up rockband and your drum brain.  Play rockband or your electronic drums together or independently.  The 9 TRS (stereo) inputs and 9 optional Y'd TRS  thru jacks allow dual and tri zone pad and cymbals to function normally with your drum brain.  The extra input is a green crash cymbal so you can have a crash on your right and left.  This box contains the kickbox and hh circuits, and has 9 trims for fine tuning the pads and cymbals.  Get your pad and cymbal sensitivity adjusted to your playing style with adjustable 5x boost on all inputs.  Once you patch in your drum brain,  there is no need to swap cables to play Rockband or just play your drums.   The hi-hat input works with an ion or rb pedal,  as well as FD7, FD8, FD9 pedals, or an open close type hi-hat with ctrl input.
In addition to the the normal hh pedal input, a drum brain hh ctrl input is included with the additional connector option. 

The basic ion setup includes 8 pad/cymbal inputs, 1 KickBox™ input, 1 hh pedal input, and 8 ion connector outputs. There is an additional green input for a right and left crash.

Note: The 9 Thru connectors are not cables.  They are the second row of connectors on the box which allow you to patch in a drum brain.
